You may self-insure or your building may be manned 24/7 so a Monitored Intruder Alarm System may not be required by your insurers. However, an Intruder Alarm System can give a much wider sense of security, to you're staff's well being and demonstrate to your clients that information on them kept on the premises is secure and important to you.
In addition to local annunciation which allows for immediate response, an advantage of a monitored system is that it has a secure, independent, data transmission link to our Central Station (CS). This data link can carry a variety of signals to our CS and the CS can take controlled, prescribed actions.
For example, it can send Panic Alarms, Lone-man Working Alarms, Power Failure, Air-con Failure, Flood and Fire alarm signals (amongst others). Our Central Station will call the appropriate agency or agencies to deal with the problem. These calls are recorded and stored. For sensitive areas, we can integrate an Intruder Alarm System into your Security Platform. Any alarm signals will be received by the CS, who can then call the Police or a third party response organization such as a key-holding service.
